Where My Father Saved Me

Made for my precious father George Alfred Miller Sr.
When I was nine years old, my father and I were in the boat fishing when a Texas tornado blew up suddenly. The funnel clouds were terrifying. We got to shore and took shelter under the trees. Daddy told me that we would be okay. Even if the boat blew away, we would be okay. Daddy held me close and kept me safe. This is where my father saved me.
Exhibited at The San Jose Quilt & Textile museum, The New England Quilt Museum, and in national competitions.
